During the Masterclass we will learn tips and tricks to make your sandwiches taste as amazing as the 'inspo' on @a_man_and_his_sandwich (IG).
We'll chat about our favorite sandwiches, learn about the history of ingredients between bread, and debate whether a hotdog, burger or taco can be considered a sandwich – prepare yourself for the lively debate!
* The sandwich we cook together is adjustable for ALL dietary requirements - carnivores, vegetarians and vegans!

About SPS Weeks of Welcome
The SPS Office of Student Life is excited to announce the Spring 2022 Weeks of Welcome! Hosted by the Office of Student Life and Office of Student Support, these events have been designed to help you meet your fellow SPS classmates, explore New York City, and have some fun! These events are open to new and returning SPS students.
More events will be added as they are confirmed in the coming weeks! Programming will be announced this semester on a rolling basis as plans are adjusted in accordance with Columbia University's COVID - 19 guidelines.

Ben, better known as “A Man and His Sandwich”, heads up The Sandwich Squad - together with Christy and Mod.
As one of the pioneer Airbnb experience hosts in New York, Ben has created multiple successful NYC food and drink experiences for the past 4 years, hosting over 14,000 fellow sandwich enthusiasts on his deliciously fun tours. His passion for the sandwich can be seen through his instagram account @a_man_and_his_sandwich
Christy is the #1 reviewed host in Nashville - home of the world famous Nashville hot chicken sandwich! As a photographer by trade, and foodie by heart, she shares her passion for eating with all of her guests (and for taking great IG food photos too!).
Michael (aka 'Mod') turned his love of the sandwich into a cooking school and cook-book business in New Zealand, before moving to NYC to chase the perfect sandwich!
