MoMA Private Group Tours!

As part of the SPS Spring 2022 Weeks of Welcome, all current SPS Students are invited to attend a private tour of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA)! The tour will last 30 minutes and will be offered twice - once at 2:20 PM and then at 2:50 PM. Students are then welcome to explore the museum on their own and may stay for as long as they wish. 

Admission to MoMA is free with your CUID and the cost of this ticket helps subsidize the group tour. Please be prepared to wear backpacks on the front of your chest or carry them to the side during your visit.

All attendees must be current SPS Students and be fully vaccinated.

About MoMA

The Museum of Modern Art opened in 1929 and plays a major role in developing and collecting modern art, and is often identified as one of the largest and most influential museums of modern art in the world. MoMA's collection offers an overview of modern and contemporary art, including works of architecture and design, drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, prints, illustrated books, and artist's books, film, and electronic media.

About SPS Weeks of Welcome

The SPS Office of Student Life is excited to announce the Spring 2021 Weeks of Welcome! Hosted by the Office of Student Life and Office of Student Support, these events have been designed to help you meet your fellow SPS classmates, explore New York City, and have some fun! These events are open to new and returning SPS students.

More events will be added as they are confirmed in the coming weeks! Programming will be announced this semester on a rolling basis as plans are adjusted in accordance with Columbia University's COVID - 19 guidelines.
