Erwin de Leon is the Chief Diversity Officer of Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies and a Lecturer in the Nonprofit Management Program. He is also a Research Fellow at Knology and a member of the Empire State Bioethics Consortium. His research and teaching interests include nonprofit organizations; diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA); organizational ethics; data and technology in civil society; and AAPI and immigrant communities.
Dr. de Leon received an Ph.D. in public and urban policy and an M.S. in nonprofit management from the New School’s Milano School of Policy, Management, and Environment. A native of the Philippines, he completed his B.S. in management engineering from the Ateneo de Manila University.
Carolyn Suna (They/Them/Theirs)

Carolyn Suna (they/them/theirs) is currently studying Sports Management at the School of Professional Studies at Columbia University. As one of the first out non-binary students in the program's history, Carolyn has worked tirelessly to be an advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community, especially the trans and gender-expansive community within the sports industry. This past summer, Carolyn interned at Major League Soccer in the Commissioner's Office as the league's first Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion intern. Prior to relocating to New York, Carolyn lived in Boston, where they worked in advertising and performed and produced improv comedy at a local community theater.
Rebecca Mattis-Pinard (She/Her)

Rebecca Mattis-Pinard is a Global Talent Learning and Development Director at IDEO where she creates engaging and innovative educational experiences aimed at upskilling individuals and enhancing organizational culture. Prior to joining IDEO she spent 13 years in Higher Education focused on issues of educational equity. Most recently she served as the Chief Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Officer at Marymount Manhattan College where she was responsible for leading the strategic vision of the college around DEI. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Binghamton University and a Masters of Education in Psychological Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University.
Matthew French (They/He)

Matthew currently works and resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he works his 9-5 remotely as the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Specialist for TextNow, a small and mighty tech company democratizing phone service! We’re hiring!!!
Prior to TextNow, Matthew worked 8 years in Higher Education committed to Career Services and DEI work. Matthew has a Master of Arts degree in Lifespan and Digital Communication and a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Old Dominion University, where he still adjuncts on media and communication. His work has been highlighted in national career development associations, CNN Business, LGBTQ+ non-profits, and more!
