ONE MORE MAKE-UP TOUR HAS BEEN ADDED.
All SPS students are welcome to join Jana Quigley from ALP Student Life on a 45 minute highlight tour of the Columbia campus. We will not see everything, but this tour will cover some of the main buildings and resources you may use as a student, such as libraries, places to eat, places to study and Jana's campus and neighborhood recommendations. You may also learn a little bit of history about the campus too. Bring your CUID, as we may need them to access buildings. Meet outside of Lewisohn Hall.
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Join Marjory D. Fisher, Columbia University's Title IX Officer to familiarize yourself with Policies and Procedures addressing gender-based misconduct at Columbia. We will discuss the history of Title IX and how this important federal law interacts with our student policies defining prohibited behaviors on campus. Title IX covers cases involving sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating and domestic violence and stalking. In some cases, students may decide to report such conduct to the University or to law enforcement. This session will share reporting options as well as options for resolving cases once a report is made. We will discuss the bedrock definition of “affirmative consent,” essential to understanding our Policies, and how to incorporate it into relationships to ensure an atmosphere of sexual respect in the Columbia community. Together with these issues, questions around confidentiality and related concerns will be discussed.
This training is REQUIRED for all new, Spring 2023 students. Questions? Email sps-studentlife@columbia.edu
7:00 PM – 10:00 PM

The Rangers will partner with members of the LGBTQ+ community for various parts of the evening, including the national anthem and ceremonial puck drop. Rangers players will wear custom pride warm-up jerseys and will tape their sticks with rainbow pride tape.

The Broadway show that launched the smash-hit movie, with all the themes of murder, greed, corruption, violence, exploitation, adultery and treachery, "all those things we hold near and dear to our hearts." So begins the musical CHICAGO, and after 25 years, CHICAGO is still the one musical with everything that makes Broadway shimmy-shake: a universal tale of fame, fortune, and all that jazz, with one show-stopping song after another accompanied with astonishing dancing. No wonder CHICAGO has been honored with 6 Tony Awards®, 2 Olivier Awards, a Grammy®, and thousands of standing ovations. Celebrating its 25th anniversary — plus the return of Broadway and a new, all-star cast — you’ve got to come see why the name on everyone’s lips is still...CHICAGO.

Featuring one of the most iconic scores of all time by Jule Styne and Bob Merrill, a revised book from Harvey Fierstein based on the original classic by Isobel Lennart, tap choreography by Ayodele Casel, choreography by Ellenore Scott, and direction from Michael Mayer, this love letter to the theatre has the whole shebang!
The sensational cast, starring Drama Desk Award nominee Lea Michele as Fanny Brice, Tony Award®️ nominee Ramin Karimloo, Tony Award nominee Tovah Feldshuh and Jeff Award winner Jared Grimes, dazzles with the songs “Don’t Rain On My Parade,” “I’m the Greatest Star,” and “People.” This bittersweet comedy is the story of the indomitable Fanny Brice, a girl from the Lower East Side who dreamed of a life on the stage. Everyone told her she’d never be a star, but then something funny happened—she became one of the most beloved performers in history, shining brighter than the brightest lights of Broadway.
