The College Search: How To Ignore the Noise and Find Your Fit!l - Schedule B

Many students spend their lives planning to attend that one perfect dream school. But applying to colleges and universities can be complicated and challenging to navigate! What if I don’t get in? What if it’s too far from home or too expensive? Are all the other options only “second best”? What if the one college I’ve always dreamed of isn’t as great as I thought? In this workshop, we will identify college search criteria and motivators that are most important to you and your future, and use these to expand your options rather than narrow them. Emphasis will be placed on distinguishing your own intrinsic priorities from the outside noise or pressure you may be experiencing, so that you can reduce stress, focus on factors that matter, and feel optimistic about whatever comes next.
